Syd Mead

On May 14th Siggraph Vancouver hosted one of the greatest artists of our times Syd Mead.
His presentation was great example of ones ability to condense his huge opus and experience into one and a half hour presentation that gave audience truly in depth look into his long, rich and inspiring carrier.

Here is the sketch I did couple of months ago that reminds me of one moment in Syd's presentation when he was touching on car design history.

Deep Jungle

Getting further and further into level one and lush jungle of Whumpa Island use of Photoshop brushes and experimenting with the same was becoming more and more elaborate.
This is the introduction area for one of the mutant beasts that Crash is fighting throughout the game.

Mushrooms

One of the first introductions of arenas in level one.
Working on Crash of the Titans I developed lots of custom Photoshop brushes.
I hope that in the near future I would be able to share some of these brush ideas through short tutorials.

Tiny

Tiny's level is broken up into two areas.
First is a happy one still alive, lush nature.
On the opposite side are devastated burned down grounds.
These concepts are showing very beginning of destruction area.
